Core Responsibilities
- Food Preparation (Mise en Place): Execute daily prep tasks for the South Indian section. This includes making and fermenting batters, chopping vegetables, grinding fresh masalas, and preparing authentic chutneys and sambar.
- Cooking & Plating: Prepare and cook traditional South Indian dishes (e.g., idli, dosa, vada, and regional curries) to exact recipe specifications while maintaining color, texture, and flavor.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure the workstation, equipment, and storage areas comply with HACCP and local health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for raw materials, track ingredient expiration dates, and report shortages to senior kitchen staff.
- Team Support: Assist the Chef de Partie (CDP) and train junior Commis 2 or 3 chefs on proper cooking techniques and regional culinary foundations
Mumbai location candidates preferred
Pay: Up to ₹26,000.00 per month
