Position: HR Manager
Location: Kolkata
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Working Days: Monday to Friday and most Saturdays off. Employees may be required to work approximately 8 Saturdays in a year based on business requirements.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance management, employee engagement, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR operations and talent acquisition and be capable of independently managing HR functions for the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Source, screen, and schedule candidates.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Handle offer generation and onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.
HR Operations
- Manage employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle joining, confirmation, transfer, and exit formalities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain HR MIS and employee databases.
Payroll & Attendance
- Prepare and validate monthly attendance data.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and salary processing.
- Manage leave records and attendance reconciliation.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries.
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and grievances.
- Conduct employee engagement activities.
- Support performance management processes.
- Foster a positive workplace culture.
Policy & Process Management
- Draft, review, and implement HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure HR practices align with organizational objectives.
- Drive process improvements and HR best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in recruitment and HR operations.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing and attendance management.
- Experience in HR policy drafting and implementation.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/MBA in HR or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Candidates with experience in payroll, recruitment, HR operations, attendance management, and policy implementation will be preferred.
- Experience in PF and ESI compliance is desirable; candidates without hands-on PF/ESI experience may also be considered.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
