Role Description
The Special Education Teacher will work with children at Sustainer Child Development Centre in Bhiwadi Delhi NCR This full‑time, on‑site role involves:
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Supporting children in developing academic, social, and life skills.
- Collaborating with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate student records.
- Guiding families on strategies to support learning at home.
- Contributing to program development and engaging in professional learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching certification or registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or special needs.
- Strong knowledge of individualized education planning and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and counselling skills for working with children, families, and teams.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Skills in patience, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative problem‑solving.
Pay: ₹96,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
