Job Summary
The F&B Trainee Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department while undergoing structured training to develop supervisory and leadership skills. The role focuses on ensuring excellent guest service, supporting team coordination, and learning all aspects of restaurant and banquet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising restaurant, banquet, and room service operations.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
- Support senior supervisors in coordinating service staff during shifts.
- Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and outlet presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in handling guest feedback, complaints, and special requests.
- Participate in staff briefings, training sessions, and performance improvement activities.
- Learn scheduling, manpower planning, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory control and proper use of service equipment.
- Support sales promotions and upselling initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with daily operational reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in F&B Service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
