Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control professional to oversee inspections throughout our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will ensure that our range of industrial valves and automation components strictly meet engineering specifications, dimensional tolerances, and ISO safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Incoming & Raw Material Inspection: Inspect raw materials, castings, and forged components to verify compliance with material test certificates and procurement standards.
· In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor production lines and perform stage-wise inspections during machining, assembly, and rubber lining processes.
· Testing & Calibration: Conduct and oversee critical pressure tests, shell and seat leakage testing, and functional testing of pneumatic actuated ball/butterfly/control valves.
· Dimensional Inspection: Utilize precision measuring instruments to check component tolerances against engineering drawings.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous quality logs, generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and prepare Final Inspection Reports (FIR) for dispatch clearances.
· Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with Production and Engineering teams to isolate defects, trace root causes, and implement preventive measures to lower rejection rates.

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Automobile or related stream)
Work Experience
Minimum 2+ Years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance
Language Skills
Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
Industry Preference
Valve Manufacturing, Actuators, Industrial Automation, or Heavy Engineering/Machining
Key Skills Needed
· Industry Standards & Blueprints: Strong knowledge of industrial valve standards, quality assurance processes, and engineering blueprints.
· Material & Pressure Testing: Practical understanding of material testing procedures (dimensional, pressure, hydrostatic).
· Technical Tools: Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges).
· Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency for entering testing logs and quality metrics.
· Multilingual Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, floor workers, and management in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
