About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Media & Communications Intern with an interest in digital media, communication, and social impact. The role will provide an opportunity to work closely with the communications team and gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital communication, media engagement, and campaign activities.
The intern will contribute to Y4D Foundation’s communication efforts across various platforms and support the team in effectively communicating our programmes, initiatives, and impact to a wider audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating content for social media, newsletters, blogs, press releases, and other communication materials.
- Support photography, videography, and basic editing for events, campaigns, and field activities.
- Assist in managing Y4D Foundation’s social media channels and online presence.
- Research, draft, and edit articles, project updates, success stories, and campaign content.
- Assist in developing creative ideas and content for digital campaigns and organisational initiatives.
- Support coordination with media and external stakeholders for coverage of Y4D’s programmes and events.
- Stay updated on social media trends, content formats, and digital communication practices.
- Assist with other communication and media-related activities as required.
Eligibility & Skills:
- Undergraduate or graduate student in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Good writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends.
- Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or other design/editing tools is preferred.
- Photography, videography, or basic video editing skills will be an added advantage.
- Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
