About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a proactive Product Sourcing & Development Executive who can identify new products, develop market-ready samples, build strong relationships with manufacturing partners, and ensure every product meets our quality and commercial expectations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with products, suppliers, and market trends while driving innovation through effective sourcing and execution.
The position is critical for enabling smooth customer service, ensuring that stock availability, order fulfilment, and delivery happen accurately and on time — the core USP of the company: “We deliver anytime, anywhere.”
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Sample Development
- Develop the product sample to new vendors.
- Research market trends and recommend new products/articles suitable for the corporate gifting industry.
- Coordinate with manufacturers to develop samples as per business requirements.
2. Manufacturer Sourcing & Factory Coordination
- Identify and onboard suitable manufacturing units based on product requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners.
- Visit factories PAN India to monitor sample development and production activities.
3. Price Negotiation & Cost Management
- Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and vendors.
- Ensure every new sample and product is developed within the target cost/budget defined by the organization.
- Work with suppliers to optimize cost without compromising quality.
4. Quality Inspection
- Inspect product samples during the development stage to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Conduct inspections during running production to ensure finished products match the approved samples and client requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve quality issues wherever required.
5. Inventory & Stock Control
- Conduct inspections during running production to ensure finished products match the approved samples and client requirements.
- Monitor inventory metrics, including stock requirements, re-order statuses, and market demand analysis considering new trends.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of product development, sample status, pricing, factory visits, inspections, and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain all work reports and trackers in Microsoft Excel.
- Submit timely reports and updates to the reporting manager.
What we are looking for (Skills & Experience Required)
- 5-6 years of experience supervising product line.
- Knowledge of Textiles/ Apparels, Bags, Trolleys, Electric and Electronics; Home Appliances and related products.
- Proficiency in Excel, inventory software/ERP systems, and dashboard reporting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Procurement, and Accounts.
- Sharp problem-solving ability with high ownership, structure, and process orientation.
