We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dyeing Follow-up Incharge to coordinate, monitor, and follow up on all dyeing activities to ensure timely and quality production. The incumbent acts as the key link between the dyeing department, production planning, and quality control to ensure that fabric/yarn dyeing orders are completed as per shade, quality, and delivery requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on daily dyeing production schedules to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
- Coordinate with the dyeing floor, lab, and store to ensure availability of dyes, chemicals, and grey fabric/yarn as per the production plan.
- Monitor shade matching, lot-wise dyeing progress, and re-processing/re-dyeing requirements.
- Maintain and update daily dyeing status reports and follow-up registers.
- Liaise between dyeing, finishing, quality, and dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and highlight delays or bottlenecks to the management.
- Ensure dyed material meets the required quality standards, colour fastness, and shade approval.
- Follow up on lab dips, shade approvals, and bulk dyeing approvals from buyers/merchandisers.
- Coordinate with the planning team to prioritize urgent and critical orders.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for traceability and audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and standard operating procedures on the dyeing floor.Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in dyeing follow-up or dyeing production in a textile/garment/fabric processing unit.
- Sound knowledge of dyeing processes, shade matching, dyes, and chemicals.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting, ERP systems).
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
