A Jewellery Showroom Manager oversees daily operations, drives sales targets, manages high-value inventory, and ensures exceptional customer service in a high-security environment. Key responsibilities include team leadership, visual merchandising, stock audits, and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Performance: Driving revenue to meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales targets.
- Operations & Security: Overseeing opening/closing, maintaining strict inventory control, managing high-value stock, and ensuring security protocols to prevent theft.
- Team Leadership: Hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and evaluating sales staff.
- Customer Experience: Resolving complaints and cultivating relationships with VIP clients.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintaining the showroom’s cleanliness and ensuring an appealing display of jewelry and luxury items.
- Reporting: Managing budgets, expenses, and preparing financial/performance reports.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as a showroom manager or assistant manager in the jewelry or luxury retail industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, proficiency in POS systems/inventory management software, and deep knowledge of jewelry products (diamonds, gold, etc.).
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, trust-worthy, and sales-oriented.
