Location: Varthur, Bangalore.
Job Summary
The Transition Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the successful mobilization and transition of new facility management contracts. The role ensures a smooth transfer of services from project award to operational handover by coordinating with clients, internal departments, vendors, and site teams while ensuring compliance with company standards, statutory requirements, and client expectations.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTransition Planning
- Develop detailed transition and mobilization plans for new client locations.
- Define project timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and implementation schedules.
- Ensure all transition activities are completed within the agreed project timelines.
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact during the transition phase.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and regular review meetings with clients.
- Understand client requirements and ensure successful implementation of agreed service deliverables.
Site Mobilization
- Coordinate the deployment of housekeeping, security, engineering, landscaping, pest control, and support staff.
- Ensure all manpower, equipment, machinery, tools, uniforms, ID cards, consumables, and assets are available before service commencement.
- Oversee site readiness to ensure a smooth operational launch.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, Procurement, Payroll, Finance, EHS, Administration, and Operations teams.
- Ensure timely onboarding of employees and completion of statutory documentation.
- Coordinate procurement and installation of equipment and materials.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, client policies, and company SOPs.
- Prepare transition plans, mobilization checklists, risk registers, asset registers, and handover documents.
- Maintain complete project documentation and audit records.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with approved vendors and subcontractors for equipment supply and service execution.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and quality standards during mobilization.
Risk Management
- Identify operational risks and project challenges during transition.
- Develop mitigation plans and resolve issues to avoid delays in project execution.
- Escalate critical concerns to senior management when necessary.
Operational Handover
- Conduct final readiness reviews before service commencement.
- Ensure seamless handover of the project to the Operations Team.
- Support the site during the stabilization period to achieve service excellence and client satisfaction.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transition status reports.
- Present project progress, milestones, risks, and completion reports to management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project mobilization and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facility Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management or Facility Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Facility Management, Project Mobilization, Operations, or Transition Management.
- Experience in handling corporate offices, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, educational institutions, or residential communities is preferred.
- Experience managing large manpower deployment and multi-location projects is desirable.

Working Conditions
- Frequent travel to client locations and project sites.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or extended hours during project mobilization and site go-live.
- Ability to manage multiple transition projects simultaneously.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
