Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer responsible for developing functional, aesthetically appealing, and practical interior spaces. The role involves understanding client requirements, preparing design concepts and drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with vendors and site teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and functional needs.
- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and space-planning layouts.
- Prepare 2D plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Create 3D models and realistic renders to communicate design concepts.
- Select suitable furniture, materials, fabrics, finishes, lighting, and accessories.
- Prepare material specifications, BOQs, and basic cost estimates when required.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, vendors, and other consultants.
- Conduct site visits and monitor work according to approved drawings and design specifications.
- Ensure proper dimensions, detailing, material application, and quality of execution.
- Make design revisions based on client and site requirements.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, products, and construction techniques.
- Maintain project drawings, presentations, material samples, and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software such as D5 Render/V-Ray/Lumion.
- Good understanding of space planning, furniture design, materials, lighting, and colour schemes.
- Ability to read and prepare architectural/interior drawings.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with a team.
- Knowledge of basic interior construction and site execution is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome.
- A good portfolio demonstrating residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,974.92 - ₹45,550.75 per month
