SEO Lead
About the role:
Flyin.com is looking for a performance-driven SEO Lead to own and execute our organic
growth strategy across flight, hotel and destination pages. This role will play a critical
part in scaling high-intent organic traffic, improving search visibility across GCC markets,
and driving bookings through a strong mix of technical SEO, content strategy, AppStore
Optimization (ASO) and programmatic SEO (pSEO).
The ideal candidate brings hands-on SEO experience in high-scale, transactional websites
and is comfortable working with data, product, and engineering teams to drive
measurable business impact.
What you’ll do:
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings, organic traffic, and
bookings across flights, hotels, and destination pages
- Conduct in-depth keyword research across Arabic and English markets to identify
high-intent and long-tail opportunities
- Optimize landing pages, route pages, and metadata using best-practice on-page
SEO techniques
- Build and manage internal linking structures to improve crawlability and
conversion pathways
- Collaborate with content and product teams to define and execute SEO roadmap
and content calendar
Programmatic SEO (pSEO) & Scale
- Support the creation and scaling of pSEO pages (flight routes, hotel destinations,
travel guides)
- Ensure content quality, uniqueness, and indexability across large volumes of
pages
- Work with product and engineering teams to build scalable SEO templates
AI Engine Optimization (AEO) & Search Evolution
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise brand visibility across AI-driven search
platforms (e.g., Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude)
- Identify high-intent informational queries and optimise content to appear in
AI-generated answers and summaries
- Monitor brand presence and share of voice across AI search outputs and identify
opportunities for improvement
- Continuously experiment with prompt-based discovery, answer engine visibility,
and emerging AI search behaviours
- Track performance through evolving AEO metrics such as visibility in AI
summaries, referral traffic and assisted conversions
Technical SEO & Site Health
- Conduct regular technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush,
Google Search Console, and GA4
- Identify and resolve crawl errors, indexation issues, redirects, and broken links
- Work closely with developers on Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile
optimization, and structured data/schema implementation
- Monitor and improve site architecture for large-scale SEO performance
Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
- Execute backlink strategies through partnerships, PR, and content outreach
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain a clean backlink profile and manage toxic link disavow processes
App Store Optimization (ASO) & App Growth
- Develop and execute ASO strategies to improve app visibility, conversion rates
and installs across iOS and Android platforms
- Conduct keyword research for App Store and Google Play to identify high-intent
search terms and optimise app metadata (title, subtitle, description, keywords)
- Manage and improve app ratings and reviews through structured review
generation and response strategies with the CX team
- Track and analyse ASO performance metrics including impressions, conversion
rate, installs and keyword rankings
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Track and analyse SEO performance using GA4, Search Console, MMP and
third-party tools
- Monitor key metrics including traffic, rankings, CTR, conversions, and revenue
contribution
- Build weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights
- Continuously optimize based on data and algorithm updates
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Agency side experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO and content strategy
- Proficiency in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search
Console and Tag Manager
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and structured data/schema
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Good to Have
- Experience in the travel/OTA industry.
- Exposure to multilingual SEO, especially in the Middle East region
- Experience working on large-scale websites (10,000+ pages)
- Familiarity with AI-driven SEO tools and content optimization platforms
- Understanding of how SEO integrates with performance marketing and CRO
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business, product, tech, CX and marketing
teams
