Key Accounting Responsibilities
- Financial Records: Maintain ledgers, process payments/receipts, manage petty cash, and handle journal entries.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial statements, assist with budgets, manage GST/TDS/Tax filings, and support audits.
- Payroll: Process salaries, manage expense reports, and handle related documentation.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
Key Administrative Responsibilities
- Office Operations: Manage daily activities, maintain office supplies, handle vendor relations, and ensure smooth functioning.
- Communication: Manage internal/external correspondence (emails, calls) and documentation.
- Coordination: Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organize company events.
- Data Management: Handle filing, data entry, and maintain records securely.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Good written and spoken communication (English & local language).
This role is common in small to mid-sized businesses where one person covers both finance and general office management.
