Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to manage the execution of Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm System projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end site execution, technical supervision, testing & commissioning, and coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Execute installation of Fire Fighting Systems including:
- Hydrant systems
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire pump rooms
- Piping & valve networks
- Execute installation of Fire Alarm Systems including:
- Conventional & Addressable fire alarm panels
- Smoke & heat detectors
- Manual call points & hooters
- Public Address & Emergency Voice Evacuation Systems
Site Management
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and contractor workforce
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
Technical & Documentation
- Review technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications
- Prepare material requirement plans and coordinate procurement
- Maintain measurement sheets and support billing processes
- Prepare testing, commissioning, and handover reports
- Maintain proper project documentation and records
Testing & Commissioning
- Perform pressure testing, flow testing, and system checks
- Conduct loop testing and panel programming for fire alarm systems
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients
- Ensure successful system commissioning and handover
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations
- Follow guidelines from National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
- Adhere to Indian codes issued by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)
- Implement site safety practices and permit systems
Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and PMC teams
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials and equipment
- Attend project review meetings and submit progress reports
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire Engineering
Experience Required
- 2 to 8 years of experience in Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm System projects
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of fire protection and detection systems
- Understanding of hydraulic calculations and fire load requirements
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, sprinklers, detectors, and control panels
- Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
