What you’ll achieve
As a senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement high-scale, multi-tenant Data Lakehouse for our clients that serves as the backbone for both real-time analytics and advanced machine learning. Your mission is to move beyond traditional ETL, creating a "data supply chain" that leverages federated query engines, open table formats, and cloud-native scalability to ensure our customer’s data is reliable, governed, and instantly accessible across diverse product lines.
You will:
-
Design and operate end‑to‑end Lakehouse architectures using the Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) pattern with Iceberg or Delta Lake, enabling ACID transactions, time travel, and schema evolution.
-
Design and optimize Starburst/Trino clusters for high‑performance federated queries across heterogeneous data sources, minimizing latency and data movement.
-
Build secure, multi‑tenant batch and streaming pipelines using Spark (PySpark/Scala) and Kafka, with orchestration via Airflow or Dagster.
-
Perform deep performance tuning of Spark jobs, Trino queries, and storage layouts (partitioning, compaction, vacuuming) to reduce cost and improve throughput.
-
Implement privacy‑by‑design practices (encryption, least‑privilege IAM, data masking) and define, monitor, and enforce SLOs for data freshness, quality, and completeness.
Take the first step towards your dream career.
