Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented GeM Executive to manage our company’s activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid/tender identification, quotation preparation, bid submission, order processing, and coordination with government departments and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the company’s GeM Seller Account.
- Search and identify relevant GeM bids, tenders, and government procurement opportunities.
- Review tender eligibility criteria, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, performance security, and other requirements.
- Prepare and submit GeM bids within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with the sales, technical, finance, and management teams for required documents and approvals.
- Upload and maintain product catalogues, specifications, certificates, authorizations, and other documents on GeM.
- Monitor bid status, technical evaluation, financial evaluation, L1 status, and order placement.
- Handle GeM orders from order confirmation to delivery and completion.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for timely order execution.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals as required.
- Maintain records of submitted bids, orders, payments, and tender-related documents.
- Follow up with government departments, hospitals, PSUs, and other institutional buyers regarding bids and orders.
- Monitor GeM notifications, policy changes, and procurement guidelines.
- Coordinate for EMD, Performance Bank Guarantee, invoices, payments, and other documentation wherever applicable.
- Maintain a database of government customers, departments, hospitals, and tender opportunities.
- Support the management in developing government sales and tender business.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of GeM portal and government tender processes.
- Experience in bid submission and tender documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PDF/document management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Knowledge of medical equipment/device tenders will be an added advantage.
- Experience with medical devices, healthcare equipment, diagnostics, or hospital supplies will be preferred.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or related field will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience handling GeM/tenders for:
- X-Ray Machines
- CT Scan / Radiology Equipment
- Medical Devices
- Oxygen Concentrators
- CPAP / BiPAP
- Hospital Equipment
- Diagnostic Equipment
- Government Hospital / PSU Supplies
will be preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of relevant bids identified.
- Number of bids successfully submitted.
- Bid-to-order conversion.
- Accuracy and completeness of tender documentation.
- Timely submission of bids.
- Government order value generated.
- Timely execution and closure of GeM orders.
Pay: ₹10,029.42 - ₹28,000.00 per month
