Hansen Technologies is transforming the way our Legal and People & Culture teams operate globally. As part of a modern, scalable Shared Services model, we're seeking a commercially minded Employment Lawyer to join our global Legal function.
This is a rare opportunity to become our first dedicated Legal Counsel in the region , helping to shape and evolve employment law support across India and the wider APAC region. You'll work closely with Legal, P&C and business leaders worldwide, gaining exposure to complex multi-jurisdictional matters while building regional expertise and a truly international career.

Reporting to the Regional General Counsel, you'll provide practical employment law support to Legal and P&C teams globally, helping drive consistency, efficiency and scalability across the business.
- Advise on employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, commercially focused guidance
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies and workplace documentation
- Support investigations, disciplinary matters and employment-related disputes
- Coordinate with external counsel and support global employment law projects
- Assist with restructures, organisational change and workforce initiatives
- Build regional employment law expertise across India and APAC
- Support wider legal matters and strategic projects as opportunities arise
We're looking for an ambitious lawyer who combines strong legal fundamentals with commercial awareness and a desire to develop within a global organisation.
- Qualified lawyer in India
- Ideally, you''ll have approximately 3–8 years' post-qualified experience
- Employment law experience gained in private practice, in-house, or both
- Experience supporting advisory, drafting and/or dispute matters
- Strong research, drafting and analytical skills
- Commercially minded and solutions focused approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in developing multi-jurisdictional employment law expertise
