Job Description – IT Executive (Hotel Industry)
Position: IT Executive

Key Responsibilities:
1. IDS Software / Hotel Application Management
* Manage and operate IDS (Property Management System) software smoothly.
* Provide IDS support to Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Finance, and other departments.
* Manage user creation, access rights, and password controls in IDS.
* Coordinate with IDS support team/vendor for software issues, updates, and troubleshooting.
* Ensure daily backups and proper functioning of IDS database.
* Monitor interface connectivity between IDS and other systems.
2. Hardware & Software Support
* Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and IT equipment.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
* Install and update required software applications.
* Maintain antivirus, system security, and regular updates.
* Manage IT asset inventory and documentation.
3. Network & Internet Management
* Manage LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi connectivity across the hotel.
* Monitor internet connectivity and coordinate with ISP vendors.
* Troubleshoot network issues, routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
* Ensure smooth guest and employee Wi-Fi services.
4. Server & Data Management
* Monitor hotel servers and ensure smooth performance.
* Perform regular data backup and recovery activities.
* Maintain data security and confidentiality.
* Manage shared folders and user permissions.
5. CCTV & Security System Support
* Monitor and maintain CCTV systems and recordings.
* Coordinate maintenance of DVR/NVR, cameras, and access control systems.
* Support biometric attendance system operations.
6. Vendor & IT Coordination
* Coordinate with IT vendors for AMC, software support, and equipment maintenance.
* Follow up for timely resolution of technical issues.
* Maintain records of IT purchases, warranties, and service reports.
7. Daily IT Operations Support
* Provide technical support to all hotel departments.
* Support POS systems, printers, billing systems, and other operational software.
* Ensure minimum downtime of IT services.
* Maintain daily IT checklist and issue logs.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
* Good knowledge of IDS Software (PMS).
* Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality software.
* Computer hardware & networking knowledge.
* Windows OS, MS Office, server, and troubleshooting skills.
* CCTV, biometric, printer, and network management knowledge.
* Basic knowledge of data backup and cybersecurity.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualification:
* Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 1–3 years of IT experience.
* Hotel/Hospitality industry experience preferred.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
