About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Inventory Manager to lead inventory planning, optimization, and supply chain operations for automotive spare parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in inventory control, demand forecasting, stock optimization, dealership operations, and stakeholder management within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Lead inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and demand analysis for automotive spare parts and accessories.
- Work closely with OEM dealerships, workshop managers, parts managers, and supply chain teams to improve inventory performance.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives, including reduction of non-moving and slow-moving stock.
- Monitor inventory KPIs such as fill rate, stock turnover, inventory aging, availability, and carrying costs.
- Analyze sales trends, consumption patterns, and market demand to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations for inventory improvement.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, sales, logistics, and operations teams.
- Mentor and guide inventory planning teams to achieve operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5-6+ years of experience in Inventory Management, Spare Parts Management, Supply Chain, or Automotive Aftermarket Operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting methodologies, and warehouse operations.
- Experience working with Automotive OEMs, dealerships, or aftermarket spare parts businesses.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
