Jodi Studio is a designer boutique and custom stitching studio based in Bangalore. We specialize in designer blouses, bridal and festive wear, saree-to-dress transformations, kids wear, twinning outfits, and alterations — all crafted with a design-first approach and personalized fit. We are growing and looking for a passionate Fashion Designer to join our creative team.
Role: Fashion Designer (Full-Time)
We are hiring a talented and creative Fashion Designer to work with us on custom garments, bridal and festive collections, and everyday ethnic wear. If you love fashion, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working closely with clients to bring their outfit visions to life, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom outfits including blouses, lehengas, gowns, salwar suits, and kids wear
- Work with clients to understand their requirements, fabric preferences, and occasion needs
- Create patterns, select fabrics, and oversee stitching and finishing quality
- Assist in saree-to-dress transformations and twinning outfit coordination
- Collaborate with the tailoring team to ensure precision and fit
- Stay updated on the latest fashion trends in Indian ethnic and bridal wear
- Contribute to the studio's portfolio and design collections
Requirements
- Experience in fashion design or garment construction (fresher with strong portfolio also welcome)
- Knowledge of Indian ethnic wear, bridal fashion, and garment patterns
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work directly with clients and understand their needs
- Proficiency in sketching, fabric selection, and garment finishing
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design preferred
What We Offer
- Full-time position at our Bangalore studio
- Salary: Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
- Hands-on work in a growing designer boutique
- Creative, supportive work environment
- Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 8:30 PM
