Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall functioning of Nursing Services across all units.
- Ensure quality patient care, patient safety, and nursing excellence.
- Plan and manage nursing manpower, duty rosters, deployment, and staffing requirements.
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance and development.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor infection control practices, medication safety, and clinical nursing protocols.
- Conduct nursing audits, training programs, and competency assessments.
- Coordinate with medical, clinical, and support departments for effective patient care delivery.
- Manage nursing budgets, inventory, and resource utilization.
- Participate in hospital quality initiatives, accreditation activities, and management meetings.
Qualification
- M.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing with recognized Nursing Council Registration.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of nursing experience with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role in a hospital.
