AVM Labs is seeking dedicated and compassionate Blood Collection Technicians (BCTs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and adherence to quality standards. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and compliance with infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection following standard operating procedures.
Accurately identify patients and verify test requisitions before sample collection.
Label, document, and handle specimens correctly to maintain sample integrity.
Follow infection prevention and biomedical waste management protocols.
Ensure proper storage, packaging, and transportation of samples to the laboratory.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and sample collection details.
Assist patients during the collection process and address their concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the collection area and equipment.
Coordinate with laboratory and customer support teams for smooth operations.
Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.

DMLT
B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
B.Sc. Biotechnology
B.Sc. Biochemistry
B.Sc. Microbiology
Allied Health Science graduates
Experience
Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.
Experienced phlebotomists are preferred.
Required Skills
Good venipuncture and blood collection skills.
Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control.
Patient handling and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer knowledge for documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
