AutoCAD Draftsman – Event Management & Exhibition Design
Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our Event Management and Exhibition Design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, event layouts, stage designs, and exhibition booth plans using AutoCAD software.
The role involves working closely with event planners, designers, production teams, and project managers to transform creative event concepts into precise technical drawings that can be executed on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for event layouts, stage setups, and exhibition booth designs.
- Develop floor plans for conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and corporate events.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for staging, lighting structures, trusses, LED walls, seating layouts, and booth structures.
- Convert creative concepts from designers into accurate technical CAD drawings.
- Work closely with event managers, production teams, and fabricators to ensure designs are feasible and executable.
- Update drawings based on client feedback, venue requirements, and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with venue guidelines, safety standards, and exhibition regulations.
- Prepare site measurement drawings and installation layouts.
- Maintain organized CAD files and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Certification or strong experience in AutoCAD.
- 2–4 years of experience in event design, exhibition design, interior design, or architectural drafting.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and basic 3D)
- Strong spatial visualization and layout planning skills
- Understanding of event structures such as stages, trusses, booths, and display systems
- Attention to technical accuracy and detail
- Ability to work under tight event deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Blender for event visualization
- Experience with exhibition stand design or stage design
- Understanding of lighting layouts and AV setup drawings

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.19 per month
