We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR Consultant with expertise in Allocation, Replenishment Planning, Assortment Planning, and SAP CAR UDF/OAA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP CAR solutions that optimize retail planning, forecasting, merchandise allocation, and replenishment processes. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP Retail solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP CAR Allocation, Replenishment, and Assortment Planning solutions.
- Lead functional activities across design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and hypercare phases.
- Develop allocation and replenishment strategies to support retail operations across different markets and channels.
- Support merchandise assortment planning aligned with seasonal promotions and business requirements.
- Configure and maintain CAR components including OAA, UDF, OPP, and POSDTA.
- Collaborate with merchandising, buying, planning, master data, and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless business processes.
- Work with SAP S/4HANA Retail and integrate SAP CAR with external systems using CPI/BTP, IDocs, and OData.
- Support forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment planning.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, user documentation, and deployment materials.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support enhancements, and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP CAR Allocation, Replenishment Planning, and Assortment Planning.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CAR OAA, UDF, OPP, and POSDTA.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Retail.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, buying, forecasting, and inventory replenishment processes.
- Understanding of SAP integrations using CPI/BTP, IDocs, and OData.
- Experience with Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Experience in SIT, UAT, cutover, and deployment activities.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP Retail implementation or transformation projects.
- Exposure to large-scale retail environments and omnichannel/e-commerce integrations.
- Knowledge of seasonal assortment planning and retail analytics is an added advantage.
