We are seeking a PCB Hardware Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing reliable and manufacture electronic hardware for IoT, Analytical and health monitoring devices. The candidate should be capable of end-to-end hardware development—from schematic design to PCB layout, component selection, BOM preparation, and product validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop schematic and PCB layouts (up to 4-layer boards) for IoT and embedded systems
- Select appropriate components considering performance, cost, availability, and lifecycle
- Create and manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure designs meet DFM, DFA, and EMC/EMI compliance requirements
- Work closely with firmware and mechanical teams for system integration
- Perform hardware debugging, validation, and testing at prototype and production stages
- Support bring-up activities and troubleshoot issues in real-world conditions
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners for prototyping and mass production
- Optimize designs for cost, reliability, and scalability
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, wireless modules (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, etc.)
- Knowledge of power supply design, battery management, and low-power systems
- Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN)
- Experience in debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
- Understanding of EMI/EMC design practices
- Ability to interpret datasheets and application notes effectively
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work on wearable devices, medical electronics, or health monitoring systems
- Exposure to regulatory standards (CE, FCC, IEC, or medical compliance)
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and EMS partners
