Experience: Retired Government Officer (EE/SE level preferred)
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Materials with a strong background in electrical materials management. The ideal candidate should be a retired Government Officer (EE/SE level) with extensive experience in Store & Purchase (SNP) operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, storage, and distribution of electrical materials
- Manage vendor development, negotiations, and purchase processes
- Ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects
- Maintain inventory control and reduce material wastage
- Handle tendering, rate analysis, and contract management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Coordinate with project teams for material planning and execution
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reports for management
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Retired Government Officer (EE/SE level preferred)
- Proven experience as Store & Purchase Manager (SNP)
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials and equipment
- Expertise in procurement procedures and vendor management
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle large-scale material operations
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in infrastructure, transmission, or electrical projects
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage teams effectively
