We are building a technology-driven procurement and supply chain ecosystem that ensures product availability, operational efficiency, and superior service for retailers across India.
As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Procurement Executive who can support sourcing, vendor management, inventory planning, and procurement operations across categories.
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Procurement Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase order management, and inventory replenishment.
This role will work closely with Category, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Vendor teams to ensure timely procurement, optimal inventory levels, and smooth supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced B2B commerce environment.
- Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory requirements and business demand
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of products
- Monitor purchase order status and follow up on pending deliveries
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with inventory and business requirements
- Maintain procurement records and documentation with accuracy
- Coordinate with vendors regarding order fulfillment, pricing, deliveries, and issue resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors
- Support vendor onboarding and documentation processes
- Ensure vendor compliance with agreed commercial and operational terms
- Escalate supply-related issues and work towards timely resolution
- Track inventory levels and identify replenishment requirements
- Coordinate with warehouse and category teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor stock availability and support demand planning activities
- Assist in minimizing stock-outs, excess inventory, and expiry-related losses
- Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation activities
- Maintain procurement trackers, MIS reports, and vendor performance records
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports
- Track supplier performance metrics including fill rate, lead time, and order accuracy
- Support management with procurement and inventory-related insights
- Work closely with Category, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Coordinate invoice verification and payment-related activities with Finance
- Support new product launches and assortment expansion initiatives
- Ensure smooth communication between internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Assist in implementing procurement process improvements and SOPs
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or inventory management
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, or Distribution businesses
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations
- Exposure to vendor negotiations and commercial coordination
- Knowledge of procurement documentation and invoice processing
