Role Summary
We are seeking a highly reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company executives, staff, or materials to designated locations. The ideal candidate possesses a flawless driving record, an excellent understanding of local routes and traffic patterns, and a polite, professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly to transport personnel, clients, or goods to their scheduled destinations on time.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS applications and extensive knowledge of local roads to map out the most efficient routes and avoid traffic delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring optimal fuel levels, tire pressure, and engine fluids. Schedule and coordinate necessary servicing.
- Cleanliness & Presentation: Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the assigned vehicle daily, ensuring a comfortable environment for all passengers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate driving logs, including mileage, travel times, toll receipts, fuel expenditures, and overtime hours worked.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all state and local traffic laws, parking regulations, and internal company safety policies.
- Client Assistance: Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or materials while maintaining a courteous and helpful disposition.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license (Commercial or LMV as required by the specific vehicle class) with a clean driving record and no recent traffic violations.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate, logistics, or chauffeur capacity.
- Navigation Skills: Proficiency with modern GPS devices (Google Maps, Waze) and a strong sense of direction.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, remain alert during long shifts, and physically lift or carry packages and luggage (up to 20-25 kg).
- Professionalism: Excellent time management skills, strict punctuality, and clear verbal communication. Discretion and confidentiality are mandatory when transporting executives or clients.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside troubleshooting is highly preferred.
Compensation & Working Hours
- Base Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (commensurate with experience and driving history).
- Overtime Allowance: Attractive overtime (OT) compensation provided for any hours worked beyond the standard shift, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekend assignments.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
