We are looking for a passionate and energetic PT Teacher to promote physical fitness, sports participation, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among students. The candidate should have strong knowledge of sports and physical education and the ability to train students across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education and sports classes for students.
- Train and coach students in various sports and athletic activities.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, strength, stamina, and sports skills.
- Identify and nurture students with potential in competitive sports.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Organize and coordinate sports events, competitions, tournaments, and athletic meets.
- Ensure proper discipline, safety, and supervision during all sports activities.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure its proper usage and upkeep.
- Encourage students to participate actively in sports and physical fitness programmes.
- Maintain records of student participation, performance, and achievements.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the school management for sports-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and child safety guidelines.
Qualification
- B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed from a recognized institution.
- Additional certification in a specific sport will be an advantage.
Specialization
- Candidates with specialization and strong coaching experience in Tennis will be preferred.
Experience
- Relevant experience as a PT/Physical Education Teacher in a reputed school is mandatory.
- Experience in coaching students for competitive-level sports will be an added advantage.
