Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Telugu-speaking Optometrist to join our team as a Community Coordinator cum Optometrist. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing quality eye care services while coordinating community eye health programs, awareness campaigns, and outreach initiatives across Hyderabad and nearby areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical (Optometrist Duties)
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and ocular health assessments.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and manage refractive errors.
- Detect and manage common eye conditions and refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when required.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, contact lens usage, and preventive eye health measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and clinical protocols.
Community Coordination Duties
- Plan, organize, and execute community eye health awareness programs and vision screening camps.
- Communicate effectively with local communities in Telugu.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, NGOs, healthcare providers, corporate organizations, and local communities.
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and volunteer support for outreach programs and eye camps.
- Prepare reports, collect field data, and submit community outreach outcomes to management.
- Promote eye health education through workshops, awareness campaigns, and community events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
- Fluency in Telugu (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in community health programs or outreach activities will be an added advantage.
- Good organizational, coordination, and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office and data management tools).
- Willingness to travel within Hyderabad and surrounding areas for community outreach programs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
