Core Responsibilities
- Preparation & Setup: Complete mise-en-place (polishing cutlery, folding napkins, restocking sauces, and setting tables) before service.
- Guest Service: Greet guests, present menus, provide recommendations, and accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Order Management: Accurately input food and drink orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and relay them to the kitchen.
- Sales & Upselling: Suggest appetizers, desserts, and signature beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Billing & Payments: Present accurate bills, handle cash or card transactions, and process payments promptly.
- Sanitation: Clear tables, clean dining stations, and ensure the area complies with health and safety regulations.
