Wellversed is looking for a Machine Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Wellversed Health Private Limited. The role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery—particularly milling machines and filling machines—to ensure they function smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and build industrial machinesBuild and assemble machines including milling machines and filling machines as per technical and production requirements.
- Inspect machines regularlyConduct routine inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.
- Perform on-site repairs and adjustmentsRepair and adjust machines to ensure safe and efficient machine operations.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdownsDiagnose and resolve issues related to machinery breakdowns or malfunction reports.
- Conduct preventive maintenancePerform routine maintenance activities such as lubrication, calibration, and system checks to avoid downtime.
- Replace worn-out or defective partsRefill fluids and replace damaged or worn-out components of machines when required.
- Maintain machine componentsEnsure proper operation of milling heads, cutting tools, augers, pistons, valves, and filling nozzles.
- Guide machine operatorsInstruct machine operators on daily maintenance practices and preventive care.
- Maintain maintenance recordsKeep accurate and timely records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Coordinate with other departmentsWork closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: GraduateDiploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical will be preferred.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experienceExperience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing setup.
- Knowledge of industrial machineryStrong understanding of milling machines, filling machines, and other industrial equipment.
- Ability to read technical diagramsCapable of understanding blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in maintenance toolsExperience using tools like screwdrivers, hammers, spanners, and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsBasic understanding of motors, sensors, wiring, and mechanical components.
- Good communication and documentation skills
