US Logistics - Accounts Payable Executive (Night Shift)

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Executive to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate should have experience handling invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor and carrier invoices
- Manage and track payments to carriers and vendors
- Reconcile invoices with supporting logistics documents
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related queries
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records
- Perform account reconciliations and statement reviews
- Support internal and external audits
- Work with accounting and logistics systems to ensure smooth payment processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience in logistics, freight, or transportation industry preferred
- Good knowledge of invoice processing and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Knowledge of freight documents such as BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations
- Understanding of LTL, FTL, and carrier billing processes
