Job Description – Sales Operations Associate

About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Sales Operations Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure to sales processes.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to manage proposals, coordinate deals, track documentation, handle client/vendor portals, and ensure smooth execution of sales operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Operations Support
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate sales records.
- Track opportunities, documentation, approvals, and deal progress.
- Maintain sales trackers and ensure timely updates.
Proposal & RFP Management
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and commercial documents.
- Review and analyze RFPs/RFQs and tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile accurate and timely responses.
- Ensure submission deadlines are met.
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain and update CRM records for leads, opportunities, and proposals.
- Track sales activities and support pipeline reporting.
- Generate sales reports and dashboards as required.
Invoicing & Collections
- Coordinate with the finance team for invoice generation.
- Track invoice status and support payment follow-ups.
- Maintain collection trackers and ensure timely closure of outstanding payments.
Vendor & Client Portal Management
- Manage customer, vendor, and partner portals.
- Upload proposals, compliance documents, invoices, and related information.
- Monitor submission deadlines and maintain documentation accuracy.
Meeting Coordination
- Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MOMs).
- Track action items and follow up with internal stakeholders for closure.
- Support scheduling and coordination of sales-related meetings.
Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with technology partners and vendors for quotations, pricing approvals, and proposal inputs.
- Manage deal registrations and approval processes.
- Follow up for technical documents, compliance certificates, and product-related information.
- Track quote validity and pricing updates to ensure accurate submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Coordination, Inside Sales Support, or a similar role.
- Experience in proposal management and sales documentation.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation.
- Exposure to invoicing, collections, and vendor management processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates from IT Services, Technology, Cybersecurity, SaaS, Software, Consulting, or B2B solution-selling environments will be preferred.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
