Windows Server & VMware Administrator
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Windows Server & VMware Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policies, DNS, and VMware Virtualization (vCenter/ESXi), including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of servers and virtual environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and administer Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022) environments.
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including Domain Controllers, AD objects, OU structure, and Group Policy (GPO).
Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
Perform installation, configuration, upgradation, and patching of Windows servers.
Administer VMware Virtualization using vCenter / ESXi.
Create, manage, and optimize virtual machines (VMs).
Perform VM operations including snapshots, migrations (vMotion), and resource optimization.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services.
Troubleshoot server, AD, DNS, and VMware-related issues.
Handle backup and restore activities (Veeam/Windows Backup – if applicable).
Ensure system security, compliance, and best practices.
Coordinate with application, network, and security teams for issue resolution.
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
