Job Summary:
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to market and coordinate the delivery of agricultural products, including domestic and imported fruits and vegetables. The candidate will be responsible for developing new markets, expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow sales of domestic and international fruits and vegetables.
- Identify and acquire new customers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure business growth.
- Develop new markets and increase product penetration in the assigned territory.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and business development plans.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–8 years of sales experience in Agri-products, fresh produce, FMCG, food distribution, or import/export products.
- Strong experience in market development, channel sales, and customer management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
