Material Coordinator
To ensure safe, reliable and efficient supply of materials and equipment to (and from) internal customers to enable them to carry out planned and emergent activities.
EXCELLENCE
- Apply continuous improvement techniques to material supply processes to maximise reliability and reduce material waste.
- Identify and recommend master data cleansing, alignment and improvement.
TECHNICAL
- Demonstrate sound understanding of end-to-end processes, systems and risks & controls related to materials management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Act as the materials/transportation focal point for internal stakeholders for allocated assets.
- Carry out demand planning and material tracking in conjunction with stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure materials are tracked for delivery on time, identifying and
addressing actual & potential issues.
- Work with Procurement to ensure that material is delivered by vendors or made available for collection by freight forwarder or 3PL in accordance with required delivery dates.
- Support materials returns in accordance with reverse logistics processes.
- Support rotable refurbishment process.
- Generate materials status reports and resolve queries on weekly or ad-hoc basis as needed.
- Facilitate campaign closeouts.
- Ensure materials in staging that are no longer required are addressed.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders including maintenance, warehousing and purchasing team to promote inventory optimisation.

- Master data management and remote logistics module.
- Materials requirements planning and material status reports.
- Request for transport processes.
- Forward/reverse logistics.
