Automation Engineer – Manufacturing Automation
Location: SEEPZ, Andheri East, Mumbai
Experience: 3–5 years
Working Days: Mon–Sat (17 Saturdays off annually)
Role:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer with proven hands-on experience implementing automation projects in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will identify manual/inefficient processes, design and implement automation solutions, and work with shop-floor teams to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify manufacturing processes suitable for automation and digitalization.
- Implement automation projects end-to-end on the manufacturing/shop floor.
- Work with Production, Operations, Planning and Technology teams to deploy solutions.
- Analyse process data to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
- Improve productivity, quality, cycle time and process consistency through automation.
- Standardize and monitor automated processes and measure project outcomes.
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on automation experience in a manufacturing industry – mandatory.
- Proven track record of implementing multiple automation projects, not just supporting/selling automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Experience with relevant automation technologies such as PLC/SCADA, sensors, robotics, HMI, IIoT, machine vision or similar.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis and cross-functional coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
