Clarivate is seeking a high‑performing Life Sciences & Healthcare sales professional to join our Field Accounts team. This role focuses on managing and expanding strategic, high‑value customer relationships across the US and Canada, driving sustained account growth and revenue impact.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will own end‑to‑end account strategy—developing and executing account plans, identifying whitespace, and leading opportunities from discovery through close. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes while expanding Clarivate’s footprint within key accounts.

What will you be doing in this role?
Drive growth: Identify and convert high‑value upsell opportunities while maintaining an accurate forecast and strong client engagement cadence
Own account strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to customer priorities and long‑term growth
Build executive relationships: Establish deep, multi‑threaded relationships to understand business objectives and unlock new opportunities
Lead the sales cycle: From discovery and solution development through negotiation and close
Deliver value: Align Clarivate’s solutions to customer challenges, maximizing long‑term impact
Sell the portfolio: Drive growth across Clarivate’s Life Sciences offerings by combining data, transformative intelligence solutions, and consulting to deliver R&D, commercial, and strategic outcomes
Influence internally: Provide market and account insights to shape broader commercial strategy
Prioritize face‑to‑face engagement: Maintain ~30% of customer interactions in person to strengthen relationships, accelerate deal velocity, and deepen account penetration
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or software sales.
Experience in high‑velocity, proactive (“hunter”) sales environments
Strategic account owner experience
Experience operating at both executive and operational levels
Data‑driven with focus on pipeline, whitespace, and growth levers

Hours of Work
This is a remote position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones and travel as needed.
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position is $105,600- $132,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for sales incentive bonus earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
