We are looking for a technically skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to be based at our Head Office, providing remote troubleshooting support to site teams and clients, with occasional site visits as required. A mechanical engineering background is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical troubleshooting and guidance to site teams and clients for equipment issues and breakdowns
- Analyse fault reports, service complaints, and technical queries and offer timely resolutions
- Coordinate with on-site engineers and technicians to ensure correct diagnosis and repair procedures are followed
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance visits and follow up on service completion
- Visit client sites periodically for inspections, major breakdowns, or escalated technical issues
- Maintain service records, AMC logs, complaint trackers, and job closure documentation
- Coordinate spare parts requirements between site teams and procurement
- Liaise with clients professionally for service updates and issue resolution
- Support management with technical inputs, service reports, and improvement suggestions
Who We're Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in service coordination, technical support, or maintenance engineering
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
- Good communication skills to guide field teams and interact with clients remotely
- Comfortable with occasional site visits when required
- Proficient in MS Office for documentation and reporting
- Prior experience with [lifting equipment / industrial machinery / heavy equipment] is a plus
