About the Role
Shimanzu Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, statutory compliance, financial reporting, cost control, and strengthening internal financial processes. Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closures.
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, ROC, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking operations, and fund management.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor reconciliation, and customer ledger management.
- Supervise inventory accounting, stock valuation, cost accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team while ensuring operational efficiency.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities whenever required.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- Preference will be given to CA, CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualifications.
Experience
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Candidates from Chemicals, Agrochemicals, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Pharmaceuticals, or FMCG Manufacturing will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, MIS Reporting).
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and financial compliance.
