We are expanding our domestic healthcare network and seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding Medsurge India's healthcare network through hospital partnerships, doctor onboarding, clinic affiliations, and new market development. The role requires a highly motivated individual who can identify growth opportunities, establish strategic relationships, and generate sustainable revenue streams across India.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartnerships & Network Expansion
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare providers across India.
- Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, corporates, insurance companies, TPAs, NGOs, and wellness providers.
- Build and strengthen relationships with hospital leadership, business development teams, and key decision-makers.
- Establish referral partnerships that drive patient acquisition and revenue growth.
Doctor Onboarding & Engagement
- Identify and onboard leading specialists and referral doctors across key specialties.
- Build a strong network of doctors to support patient referrals and business growth.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and engagement activities with healthcare professionals.
- Develop long-term relationships with doctors and medical associations.
New Market & Location Development
- Identify high-potential cities and regions for expansion.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies for new locations.
- Establish local healthcare partner networks and referral ecosystems.
- Support the launch of new partnership centers, representative offices, and strategic initiatives.
Revenue Generation
- Drive business growth through new partnerships and referral channels.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and growth verticals within the healthcare sector.
- Monitor partner performance and maximize revenue contribution from existing networks.
Business Planning & Reporting
- Maintain a strong pipeline of partnership opportunities.
- Track key business metrics and revenue performance.
- Submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Work closely with leadership to implement expansion and growth strategies.
Key Success Metrics
- Revenue generated from partnerships
- Number of hospitals onboarded
- Number of clinics onboarded
- Number of doctors onboarded
- Number of new cities activated
- Referral volume generated
- Partnership retention and growth
- Achievement of annual business targets
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, hospital marketing, healthcare partnerships, or medical tourism.
- Strong network within hospitals, clinics, and the healthcare ecosystem.
- Proven track record of partnership development and revenue generation.
