Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified German Language Trainer to teach German language courses to school students. The trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging and interactive sessions, helping students develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in German while introducing them to German culture and communication practices. German language trainers are typically expected to create lesson plans, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods for different learning levels. (jobs.aatg.org)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct German language classes for students in Grades 1–10.
- Teach German vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversational skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments.
- Create a fun, interactive, and student-friendly learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress regularly.
- Provide feedback and support to students for language improvement.
- Conduct quizzes, speaking activities, role plays, and language games.
- Maintain attendance and student performance records.
- Introduce students to German culture, traditions, and communication etiquette.
- Coordinate with school authorities and the academic team for smooth program execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in German, Foreign Languages, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
- German language proficiency certification (Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, TELC, or equivalent) preferred.
- Prior experience in teaching or training German language students is preferred.
- Freshers with strong German language skills may also apply.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with school students. Teaching roles commonly require strong communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction to different learning needs. (jobs.aatg.org)
