Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Secondary English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of English literature and grammar, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage adolescents in meaningful learning experiences. The teacher must be able to deliver lessons aligned with the State Board curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons for Grades 6 to 10.
- Teach prose, poetry, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension based on State Board syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, and test papers.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills in students.
- Encourage active participation through discussions, debates, and literary activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers and participate in school programs and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. in English) – Mandatory
- B.Ed. with English as a teaching subject – Required
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level preferred (exceptional freshers may apply)
- Strong command over English language – spoken and written
- Familiarity with State Board academic requirements and assessment standards

- Ability to integrate technology in classroom teaching
- Creativity in lesson planning and use of teaching aids
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for literature and language development
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
