In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The CFOC (CFO Change) team, which is part of the COO & Governance organization within CFO division, delivers finance projects and technology solutions for the Bank of America (BAC) enterprise and also supports Line of Business (LOB) projects that impact our core finance and general ledger applications. The CFO Change team is responsible for overall program/project management, business analysis and requirements, functional design, testing, organization readiness and deployment activities.
Job Description*
This role is for a project management associate (PMO) resource responsible for monitoring, tracking & reporting on the delivery of medium to large regulatory / finance change projects across US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regulatory reporting, general ledger operations, Treasury and global markets groups. The role may also include supporting BAU projects from a finance systems production services perspective. The role works closely with Global Technology and Operations, CFO and LOB stakeholders.
Change teams supporting these functions implement strategic solutions for business users based in the US, Europe & APAC, working with the technology teams based onshore and in India. The candidate will join the department in India to project manage one of the in-flight major initiatives as part of the strategic build-out of the bank's platforms.
For this role we are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented PMO specialist who has worked on managing large agile projects, and has interacted with senior stakeholders across business, technology, data and change functions.
Responsibilities*

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking the delivery for key new regulatory requirements, critical enhancements and implementation of corresponding processes and control frameworks.

Ensuring that all change owned tasks and activities defined in project increment planning are performed in a timely and accurate manner - e.g. EPICs are raised, user stories are T-shirt sized, and made sprint-ready in time.

Prioritise and balance the Portfolio demand of work against the available development capacity within/across different projects.

Tracking and reporting on program health to measure progress and drive improvements.

Ensure accurate and timely metrics are used to measure and control programme health; leverage existing and create new data insights to adopts a best-in-class approach.

Apply metrics to improve programme execution and influence behaviours to reach goals across production stability, SDLC best practices, quality, efficiency and consistency.

Track and influence SDLC adherence to standards as defined by enterprise change policy and toolset to deliver quality and consistency across the programme.

Showcase program achievements and status to senior stakeholders and provide transparency of budget linked to benefits / outcome deliveries.

Requirements*
Education*
Education - Graduate degree in Commerce, Business or Technology.
Certifications If Any – Project Management
Experience Range*

Foundational skills*

Strong project management office experience in defining delivery metrics, and tracking and reporting out on the same for complex initiatives.

Understanding of finance change delivery projects, especially in an Agile delivery context.

Excellent communication skills required with ability to manage senior stakeholders and provide leadership updates.

Ability to positively influence and drive work forward, collate status updates and report out on the same.

Structured approach to defining, measuring and tracking project delivery metrics.

Ability to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zones.

Experience in tracking risks, issues and dependencies to closure.
