Job Description
We are looking for an experienced GeM Sales Executive with strong knowledge of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The candidate should be capable of handling the complete GeM bidding process independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and analyze GeM tenders relevant to our business.
- Prepare and submit GeM bids within timelines.
- Read and understand bid documents, ATC, technical specifications, and eligibility criteria.
- Prepare all required bid documents, compliance sheets, MAF/OEM Authorizations, declarations, etc.
- Perform L1 comparison and cost analysis before bid submission.
- Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for quotations and required documents.
- Handle price negotiations with suppliers and customers.
- Follow up with buyers regarding bid clarifications, Reverse Auctions (RA), and order processing.
- Maintain bid records, quotations, and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with government departments, OEMs, and internal teams.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in GeM Portal operations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- GeM Bidding
- Reverse Auction (RA)
- L1 Comparison
- Document Preparation
- Bid Document Reading & Analysis
- Technical Compliance Preparation
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PDF editing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred
- Good hands-on knowledge of the GeM Portal.
- Candidates who have independently handled GeM bids from start to finish will be preferred.
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
