Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced iOS application features using Swift and Swift UI to deliver intuitive and responsive user experiences that support the company mission to improve digital engagement for customers across multiple regions.
Develop integrate and optimize Rest API based services to ensure secure efficient and scalable data exchange between mobile applications and backend systems in a hybrid work environment.
Collaborate with product owners architects and fellow engineers to translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans that align with enterprise standards and roadmaps.
Review refactor and enhance existing Swift and Swift UI codebases to improve performance maintainability readability and long term reliability while minimizing technical debt in production systems.
Create unit tests integration tests and UI tests to ensure high code quality prevent regressions and support continuous integration pipelines across multiple iOS application modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and preproduction defects by performing root cause analysis log analysis and data validation for Rest API interactions and client side flows.
Optimize application startup time memory usage and network latency by applying performance profiling caching strategies and efficient Rest API request handling techniques.
Document technical designs data contracts and application workflows in a clear and structured manner to support knowledge sharing within the engineering team and with partner teams.
Coordinate with UX and UI specialists to refine layouts animations and accessibility features in Swift UI views so that the applications remain inclusive consistent and compliant with usability guidelines.
Ensure adherence to secure coding practices for all Rest API consumption and data storage operations protecting user privacy and reinforcing the company reputation for trust and safety.
Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning and retrospectives to provide accurate estimates surface dependencies and improve team delivery processes during day shifts.
Mentor less experienced engineers by sharing practical guidance on Swift language features Swift UI patterns Rest API best practices and debugging strategies that accelerate team capability growth.
Coordinate seamlessly in a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools clear communication practices and structured updates to maintain alignment with distributed stakeholders without any travel requirements.
Qualifications
Exhibit strong hands on expertise with Swift and Swift UI applying modern language constructs and declarative UI principles to build modular iOS components that are easy to extend and maintain.
Demonstrate deep proficiency in designing and consuming Rest API endpoints including handling authentication error states and response parsing in ways that improve reliability and security.
Apply extensive experience in mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM or similar approaches to enforce clear separation of concerns and support testability across features.
Utilize at least nine years of professional software engineering experience including substantial time spent delivering complex iOS applications for enterprise or consumer environments.
Show proven ability to work in agile teams contribute to backlog refinement and adapt to evolving requirements while maintaining focus on delivering incremental business value during day shifts.
Display strong problem solving skills analytical thinking and attention to detail when diagnosing defects optimizing performance and improving overall user satisfaction.
