Job purpose
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Machine to produce precision parts and components. Your role will involve interpreting engineering drawings, creating CNC programs, and ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of CNC machines. To take full ownership of CNC programming operations by developing, managing, and optimizing CNC machining programs that ensure high-precision, efficient, and cost-effective production. As the person in charge, this role is responsible for leading the CNC programming team, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in machining processes.
Duties and responsibilities
· Create and optimize CNC programs for CNC machines based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
· Select appropriate cutting tools, toolholders, and fixtures for each machining operation.
· Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and selecting program offsets.
· Monitor the CNC machines during operation to ensure the quality and precision of machined parts.
· Conduct in-process inspections and measurements to verify conformance to specifications.
· Perform tool changes and tool adjustments as required during machining operations.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure their continued performance.
· Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling, and machine setup sheets.
· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
· Ensure that all machined parts meet quality standards and specifications.
· Train and mentor junior machinists and machine operators.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent. A technical degree or certification in machining is preferred.
· Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in Fanuc Controller programming and operating CNC machines.
· Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
· Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control techniques.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
