Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and empathetic Education Counselor to lead admissions for our partner university degree programs (Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees). In this role, you will guide prospective students through academic offerings, clarify university requirements, and drive course enrollments through consultative selling and active lead management.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions & Lead Conversion: Contact and follow up with prospective students (inbound leads and walk-ins) to pitch undergraduate and postgraduate online/distance degree programs.
- Consultative Guidance: Understand student career goals, evaluate eligibility, and recommend suitable degree options and university partners.
- Funnel & Process Management: Manage the end-to-end enrollment cycle—from initial inquiry and fee structure explanation to document collection and portal registration.
- Database & CRM Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application statuses, and installment schedules using tracking sheets/CRM.
- Query Resolution: Address student and parent inquiries regarding university accreditations, curriculum details, examination modes, and career prospects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as an Academic Counselor, Telecaller, or Sales Executive in higher education, ed-tech, or educational franchises.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with UGC-approved online/distance degree structures (BA, BCom, BCA, BBA, MBA, MCA, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Sales Aptitude: Strong persuasion, objection-handling, and closing skills with a target-oriented mindset.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and standard administrative portals.
