Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage end-to-end last-mile delivery operations in Bangalore. The role involves managing daily operations, coordinating with customers and partners, ensuring timely vehicle availability, monitoring service performance, improving operational efficiency, and leading the operations team to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics operations, fleet coordination, customer handling, and process management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Manage daily last-mile delivery operations and ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle deployment based on operational needs.
- Monitor delivery performance, turnaround time, and service commitments.
- Ensure adherence to operational processes and company guidelines.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
2. Customer Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned customers.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for effective service execution.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure timely delivery support.
- Handle customer concerns and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
3. Fleet & Partner Management
- Coordinate with transport partners for vehicle availability and operational support.
- Manage vehicle requirements including commercial vehicles and last-mile delivery fleets.
- Maintain good working relationships with transport partners.
- Monitor partner performance and ensure service quality.
- Support rate discussions and operational cost management.
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track key performance indicators including delivery status, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate operational data and provide insights to management.
- Coordinate with finance teams for documentation and billing support.
5. Team Management & Process Improvement
- Lead and manage the operations team to achieve service targets.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and operational standards.
- Identify improvement areas and implement process enhancements.
- Promote teamwork and accountability within the team.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in last-mile logistics / transportation operations.
- Knowledge of fleet coordination and delivery operations.
- Experience in customer handling and stakeholder management.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage teams and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Good understanding of MIS and operational performance tracking.
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience in logistics operations.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,500.00 per month
